This is evident when you see the gorgeous mountainous terrain surrounding our more than 100 lakes and reservoirs. Half a dozen of those lakes are just a short drive from the Phoenix area including Lake Saguaro, Canyon, Apache, Bartlett, and Lake Pleasant.

While cruising with us you're likely to see native Arizona wildlife. The burros can be seen munching on grass along the beaches at Lake Pleasant. The eagle, an endangered bird, has a special home at Lake Pleasant called "Eagle's Nest."  In fact, the area is closed for 6 months each year to give the new eaglets total privacy.
