Az Aquatic Adventures started as a dream driven by a passion for boating. It's the first of its kind boat chartering service in the Phoenix area. You are not only renting a beautiful boat, but also two very skilled boat enthusiasts to chauffeur and teach. You'll see Arizona from a unique perspective. We can provide you with a full-day, half-day or sunset cruises. If you choose we can teach you how to water ski, wakeboard and tube. We have all of the materials you'll need including Coastguard approved ski vests and wet suits.

The founder of Arizona Aquatic Adventures is Denise Pollack. Denise, a real estate agent, has been boating and water skiing since she was a young girl. She's been operating watercraft since the age of 10. Now at 47, her background spans 37 years in watercraft operation. "I decided there must be a way to share this awesome experience with others who may not have a boat." Denise has taken the Arizona Game and Fish boating instruction class. Previously, she trained and competed in competitive skiing events in the region. She at one time belonged to all of the water skiing associations available. The skills learned during this time are invaluable in helping the general public understand water safety do's and don'ts. These guidelines are part of AZ Aquatic Adventure excursions and passed on to all clients.

Denise has recruited another Arizona native to help captain and instruct, Jeanne Rohrer. Jeanne, a former news anchor and reporter in Phoenix, grew up on the Colorado River. She has also been boating and water skiing since she was a teenager. "Being on the water is like nothing else, it makes you forget all your worries." Jeanne has taken the Arizona Game and Fish boating instruction class as well, and continues to stay informed on the latest boating rules and laws that apply on the rivers and lakes in this area. Jeanne never skiied competitively but took instruction from a former champion skier and coach. She has acquired the technical training, patience and passion to teach others the proper way to manuever a water ski. As the daughter of a wildlife biologist and taxidermist, Jeanne can also share her knowledge of Arizona wildlife and desert living.

Now Denise and Jeanne have fused their passion for boating and skiing to create AZ Aquatic Adventures; a unique one-of-a kind experience.

Along side Denise and Jeanne, and a fabulous first mate, is Biscotti the boating Chihuahua. Our one-year old Eye Candie mascot has been boating since she was a few weeks old. She is not your typical Chihuahua as you will see. She has become a favored part of the AZ Aquatic Adventure welcoming committee.
